A regular takeout spot for me; they also have dine in and parklet outside. I always get their sweet n sour chicken (thick breading and the sweet n sour sauce is great). I either get it as a plate which comes with rice or I get it as its own dish (larger portion) and add other dishes/sides. I also like the tomato chow mein. My sister likes the mapo tofu dish

There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. People have told me that Mamahuhu is not "authentic", but it's not meant to be... It's Chinese American, and it's very much a reimagination of Chinese American. It's healthy, affordable Chinese American food made without MSG. The things I love about Mamahuhu are: 1) continuous innovation and 2) belief in sourcing humanely grown, antibiotic and hormone free ingredients, and delivering healthy and sustainable alternatives at an affordable price. What we ordered: - Tingly spicy crispy chicken sandwich ($13) - Jade fried rice ($10) I came here explicitly for the crispy chicken sandwich, and it 100% matched my expectations. I would say that the pineapple buns were less soft and chewy than the traditional ones, but I personally find traditional pineapple buns too glutenous so this was perfect. I have a really high spice tolerance and I could definitely still taste the spicy, so be aware if you have a low spice tolerance. I'm not sure why they say that the jade fried rice serves 2-3. It is a lot of fried rice for one person but it's not a lot of food for one person. The fried rice was delicious as well. I love the modern interior, the vibrant colors, and the artwork on the walls. It's a great spot to hang out with friends. Would totally come back.

Tomato garlic noodles are sooo good. Sweet and fragrant. Fresh tomatoes on top with bell peppers. Chewy noodles. I gotta remember to come back for these again! Friend loves the crispy chicken sandwich on sweet bun. Chili sauce on the aide is a unique mix that has black bean in it. Love to see the expanded menu with boba and drinks. And soft serve too. Great location next to Starbucks across the street from Noe Valley Bakery.
